Jerome L. ''Rome'' Blow, 28, of the 3200 block of Elliott Ave., died Oct. 28, 2001, on Interstate 464, Poindexter Street Exit, Chesapeake.

A native of Portsmouth, he was a machine operator with Budweiser Co. for one year, a member of Zion Bethel United Church of Christ, Portsmouth, and a former member of the chancel choir.

Survivors include his mother and father, Barbara V. Blow and Wesley E. Blow; two sisters, Michelle Blow and Deborah B. Wims, all of Portsmouth; a brother, Larry Blow of Wilson, N.C.; fiancee, Shirley Kingsbur of Portsmouth; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends and godmother, Lydia Gordon of Portsmouth.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Zion Bethel United Church of Christ, Portsmouth, by the Rev. D.A. Peace with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Friday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
