PORTSMOUTH - Eloise Parker Mann went to sleep peacefully from the arms of her loving family to the arms of her Lord Jan. 26, 2009, in Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. Eloise was born Oct. 7, 1956, in Portsmouth to the late James and Gafelia Parker. She was educated in the Portsmouth public school system and graduated from Cradock High School in 1975. She was an alumna of Norfolk State University. She leaves to cherish her memory her three children, Darnell Jr., Saudi Washington (Larry) and Jamal; sisters, Kyle (Floyd) and Alice (James); five grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Noble Street Baptist Church, Portsmouth. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens.
