Kay Hooker Wisenbaker, 47, of the 700 block of Wood Duck Lane, died Feb. 13, 2001, in a Portsmouth hospital.

She was a native of Portsmouth and a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas D. Wisenbaker; her parents, James H. Hooker and Jean Green Hooker of Chesapeake; a daughter, Jamie M. Wisenbaker of Chesapeake; a son, Peyton Y. Wisenbaker and his wife Meika of Portsmouth; and a sister, Tracy H. Jones and her husband Eric of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Temple Baptist Church by the Rev. Allen L. Dooley. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, and suggests that memorial donations be made to the Chesapeake SPCA.
