PORTSMOUTH - Ricky J. Dail, 56, of the 600 block of Finchley Road, passed away Jan. 22, 2010 in Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center. A native of Portsmouth, he was a car salesman with Driver's World and formerly worked at the Ford Plant in Norfolk. He was a 1971 graduate of Cradock High School. He was predeceased by his mother, Nora Fuller Dail. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Rene Watson and husband Brandon and stepdaughter, Carrie Lynn Miranda, both of Virginia Beach; his son, Ricky J. Dail II and fiancée Heather of Chesapeake; his father, Enos Jessie Dail of Portsmouth; his sister, Carrol Dail-Walker and Greg of Chesapeake; his grandson, Michael Wayne Watson; two step granddaughters, Victoria and Millie; a niece, Jessica Walker; a great-nephew Ayden Walker; and many aunts and uncles. He also left behind his dog, Tiger. A memorial service will be conducted Monday at 4 p.m. at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, with Warren Freeman officiating.
