Enoch W. ''Junior'' Clark Jr., 51, of the 700 block of Rapidan St., passed away Sept. 13, 2003 after a lengthy illness.

A native of Portsmouth, Enoch enjoyed spending time with his family. Junior, as he was affectionately called, was a U.S. Navy veteran, graduate of Cradock High School, a skilled instructional welder and a drug counselor in Butner, N.C.

He was the eldest son of Ruth S. Clark and the late Enoch W. Clark Sr.

Left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Ebony Bethea (Rodriquiez) Latoya and Jasmine Clark; four grandsons, LaQuan Clark, Rodriquiez Bethea Jr., Nashawn Bunch and Naquis Cross, all of Portsmouth; one granddaughter, Dazhia Bethea of Winston-Salem, N.C.; his devoted soulmate, Rena Clark; three sisters, Betty Demps-Grant (George), Berlynda Clark, all of Portsmouth and Robin Shepard (Gregory) of Waldorf, Md.; one brother, Terry Clark (Cynthia) of Portsmouth; one uncle, James Gillespie (Ozella) of Junction City, Kan.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in First Pentecostal United Holy Church, 1434 Wilson Road, Norfolk, by Pastor A. Ray Rouson and the Rev. Robert L. Baker Sr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 11 a.m. today. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Thursday.
