EDENTON - Rella May Zimmermann Alexander, 57, of the 300 block of Kaw Trail, died Nov. 29, 2007, in Chowan Hospital. Mrs. Alexander was the daughter of Charlotte and James Arnold. She was the wife of Earl Glenn Alexander. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving Mrs. Alexander other than her husband are her daughter, Angelia Alexander Strong and her husband Sean Strong; a son, Ernest Alexander and wife Kristy Wagner Alexander; two sisters, Betty Ann Weatherly and Linda Gail Dixon; two brothers, George Zimmerman II and James Michael Arnold; three grandchildren, Kacy Wagner, Samantha Wagner and Devin Strong.

A celebration of Mrs. Alexander’s life will be held Monday at noon in Evans Funerals and Cremations Chapel. Friends may join the family at a visitation Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and other times at the residence. Friends may sign the guest register by visiting evansfuneralsandcremations.com.
