Glenn William Roe

Portsmouth – Glenn William Roe, 68, passed away Friday, January 20, 2016. He was born in Portsmouth to the late Glenn and Gertrude Roe. He faithfully served the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 35 years. He was a member of Sebrell Hunt Club and is predeceased by his son, Stephen Kent Roe.

He is survived by a loving wife, Annette Roe; a daughter, Kimberly Anne Roe and husband Jason Dominguez; a son, Nicholas Earl Roe; a sister, Maxine Adams; and a brother, Burgess Roe and wife Jane.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM Friday, January 27, 2017 in Alexander Baptist Church, 4314 Pamela Ct. Chesapeake, VA 23321 by Dr. Brian J. Ray. There will be a fellowship luncheon at the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations maybe made to Alexander Baptist Church. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
