Julia Diane Stegall Welch Class of 1966

Diane Stegall Welch, 67, of 1124 Kelsey Rd., Elizabeth City, NC went to be with the Lord Jesus on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Mrs. Welch was born in Portsmouth, VA on April 25, 1948 to the late Milton Macon and Alice Ball Stegall, and was the wife of Larry Kent Welch.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Katy Gower of Melbourne Beach, FL, and Sandra Harris and husband, Glenn of Elizabeth City, NC; a son, Joseph Lee Caraway and wife Jennifer Lee of Elizabeth City, NC; four sisters, Alice Stewart, Catherine Lee, Linda Evans, and Doris Hamilton; nine grandchildren, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Tori, Hannah, Alison, Molly, Rachel, Daniel and Moriah; and a great-grandson, Liam Kent.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Victory Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Reggie Parker. A visitation will take place Monday night from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, South Mills, NC. Memorial donations can be made to BBN, P.O.
