Greensboro, NC … Julian Sylvester Hervey III, 39 of 1709 Tower Road died Wednesday at his home. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Forbis & Dick Guilford Chapel. Burial will be Monday in Portsmouth, Va.

Hervey was a Portsmouth, Va., native and a firefighter for the Greensboro Fire Department.

Survivors are parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Hervey Jr., of Portsmouth, Va.; brother, Stephen Hervey of Ormond Beach, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Alice Striffler and Mrs. Deborah Murray of Virginia Beach, Va.
