Gloria June Bentley, 64, of Avon, N.C., died Nov. 26, 2012.

Glo was born on Sept. 19, 1948, daughter of the late Roy and Edith Bentley in Williamson, W.Va. She graduated from Craddock High School in Portsmouth, Va.

Glo is survived by sisters, Peggy Smith and Betty McCoy of Vienna, W.Va., and Brenda Sitz of Avon, N.C.; and brothers, Johnny Bentley of Winchester, Va., and Paul Bentley of Parkersburg, W.Va. She had many beloved nieces, nephews and friends, those closest were Pamela Sabol, Cecelia Woods, Alicia Taylor, Mandy Sitz, Sally Helms, Judi Jones and James Jones and her dearest friends, Robin Crump, Andy Throne, Marcie Shoemaker, Jomi and Danny Price and Kim Robke.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Augie Coleman, Geneva Adams and Martha Ann Bentley; and her brothers, Richard, Roy, Bill and Charles Bentley.

Glo loved the beach and working at the Mad Crabber at OBX. She was lways loving, giving and smiling, Glo enjoyed life and spending time with her family and friends.

A Memorial for Gloria will be held at a later date.
