Norfolk – David Neely Watson, 41, of the 500 block of Forrest Ave., a technician, died Aug. 28, 1987, in a hospital. Mr. Watson, a native of Portsmouth, was a member of Cradock Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam. He was employed by General Electric.

Survivors include his mother, Vivian P. Watson of Portsmouth; and a sister, Lynn W. Smallen of Portsmouth.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Don Sheffield. Loving Funeral home, Churchland, is handling arrangements.

The family will assemble at 3049 Reese Drive, Portsmouth. Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 404 Colley Ave., Norfolk.
