Portsmouth - Denise Ellen Hunter went to rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior on July 27, 2016.

Denise was born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Bernard and Eleanor Risi. She was predeceased by her brothers, Brian and Kenneth Burke and Paul Risi; her children, Ronald Cline and Heidi Watrous. Denise has always been known for being the life of the party, but she will also be remembered for the work she did with the elderly at Crawford One and throughout Portsmouth.

Survivors include her two daughters, Gidget and Desiree Cline; her brother, Richard Risi; and numerous grandchildren. They will always love and remember her.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm Tuesday, August 2nd at B.W. Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High Street Portsmouth, VA. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com. May she rest in peace!
