Funeral services for Frank Leroy Settle will be held Tuesday at the Barramcas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. Lt. SettLe will be buried with full military honors. He was killed June 16, 1972 in the line of duty while stationed on the Aircraft Carrier Kitty Hawk off the coast of Vietnam. Lt. Settle graduated from Cradock High School in Portsmouth, VA in 1961 and he received his bachelor's degree from Georgia Tech in 1965. He earned his Master's degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA in 1972.

Survivors include his widow Margaret Gail Settle, a daughter Leslie Settle, both of Chula Vista, CA; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Forest L. Settle, Jr., Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Ronald W. Settle, Las Vegas, NV. and his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Bruce L. Lynn, Jacksonville. Fisher-Pou Funeral Homes of Pensacola are in charge of arrangements.
