PORTSMOUTH - Ann Cahoon Lassiter, 68, of the 1500 block of City Park Ave., passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2011. She was a member of West Park Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her parents, Hallet and Almeta Cahoon; and a brother, Charles Cahoon.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James T. Lassiter; a son, Michael T. Lassiter and wife Tia; a sister, Linda Spear and husband Charles; a granddaughter, Brittany Kittinger and husband James; a great- granddaughter, Madison; and two nieces, Leslie Schiefer and Melinda Fortin.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, in West Park Church of Christ by Mr. Keith Lewis. Burial will be private in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.
