Sandra Jean Powell-Stone

PORTSMOUTH - Sandra Jean Stone, 69, went to be with the Lord March 19, 2011. A native of Virginia, she was the daughter of James Powell and the late Vivian Wellington. Besides her father, she is survived by her loving husband Millard Stone Sr.; four children, Millard "Buster" Stone Jr. and his wife Norma, Dana Stone Metcalf and her husband Buddy, Joseph P. Stone and his wife Tina and Cecil E. Stone Sr. and his wife Teri; one sister, Mary Neidlinger; two brothers, James Crump and James Powell; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, at Cradock Baptist Church, 96 Afton Pkwy., Portsmouth, VA 23702 with Father Kettlewell officiating. Arrangements are being cared for by Guardian Cremation Service. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society .
