PORTSMOUTH - Dorothy Jane Brown, 67, of the 600 block of Lanier Crescent, passed away Sept. 16, 2008, in her residence. She was a bookkeeper for Inland Diversified in Portsmouth.
Those left cherish her memory are her husband, David L. Brown; a daughter, Lisa A. Lilly and husband Garry of Chesapeake; a son, Ronald J. Vann and wife Anne of Suffolk; six grandchildren, Griffin, Ayden, Amber, Nikky, Neil and Ashley; a great-grandchild, Aubrey; a sister; and two brothers.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Mike Putnam. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
