Linda Gardner Edwards-Morales, 59, died June 22, 2000. She was born in Accomack County but lived most of her life in Virginia Beach.

Survivors include her mother, Alise G. Churn; her sister, Kay Lawson; two daughters, Kelly Edwards MacDonald and her husband, Douglas, and Alisa Edwards Frenck and her husband, Eric; her husband, Joseph Morales; and L.D. Edwards Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road. Her family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Kelly Edwards MacDonald after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
