PORTSMOUTH - Jesse Lee Wiggins Jr., 72, of Loxley Road, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010 in a local hospital. Born in Suffolk on May 26, 1938, he was the son of the late Jesse and Grace Wiggins; and retired as a shipfitter from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, with more than 30 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jo Ann Wiggins; a daughter, Renee D. Wiggins; two sons, Ronnie Wiggins and wife Deborah, and Ricky L. Wiggins; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com
