Elizabeth "Libby" Elder-Frazier Class of 1957 | PORTSMOUTH -- Elizabeth ``Libby'' Elder Frazier, 64, of N. Fort Myers, FL., died Oct. 15, 2003 after a short illness with cancer. A native of Portsmouth, she attended Cradock High School and graduated in the Class of 1957. Her father, Hugh Olin Elder, predeceased her. Survivors include her husband, George W. Frazier of the home; her mother, Ann F. Sharrett and stepfather, Edward B. Sharrett of Chesapeake; two daughters, Teresa W. Baechtold and husband David of Annapolis, MD., and Debra L. Weddle of Orlando, FL.; a son, Timothy M. Weddle and wife Jennifer of Richmond; a stepson, Mark Frazier and wife Debbie of Culpeper, VA.; three sisters, Mickey Lane and husband Leon, Marian Price and husband Ed, all of Chesapeake, Martha Rush and husband Homer of Portsmouth; a stepsister, Alison Sharrett of Connecticut; an aunt, Betty F. Moger of Norfolk; five granddaughters, one grandson and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, Portsmouth. Libby’s family gathered in the church parish hall following the service to greet family and friends. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund or to a charity of one's choice. |
