VIRGINIA BEACH - Margaret Jolley Judge died Nov. 16, 2005, at Sentara Leigh Hospital surrounded by her loving family after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 15, 1936, in Henderson, N.C. She was a graduate of Cradock High School, Class of 1955. Margaret retired from U.S. Air/Piedmont Airlines after 33 years of service to a lifetime of beautiful sunsets on the beach. She was a longtime resident of Sea Gate Condominiums.
Margaret was predeceased by her father, Sidney B. Jolley and her mother, Mary G. Jolley as well as her brother, Kenneth B. Jolley.
She leaves to cherish her memory her precious and only son, Butch Calhoun and her daughter-in-law Tonya whom she loved as her own; her sister, Joyce Jolley Cobb and her husband Tyron of Portsmouth; brother, Richard K. Jolley and his wife Susan of California; her nephews, Kenny Jolley and Paula, Tony Jolley and his wife Sandy and Steve Cobb and Lance Jolley; as well as many great-nieces and -nephews and a host of friends who will cherish the many years and memories they had with Margaret, although too few.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, 601 N.
Witchduck Road, and a memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Rosewood chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be made at www.kellumfuneralhome.com. |
