VIRGINIA BEACH - Nancy ''Gayle'' Riccio, 65, passed away on Jan. 27,2003 at Virginia Beach General Hospital.

A native of Portsmouth, she is survived by her husband, Angelo; her mother, Bertha Fitch; and a brother, Thomas and his wife Dorothy. Gayle's children include her son, Michael Riccio and wife Rose of New Jersey; a daughter, Denise and husband Harry Naylor of Pennsylvania; a son, Anthony and wife Lisa of Virginia Beach; son, Angelo Riccio II of Virginia Beach; and son Anthony of Virginia Beach. Survived also by in-laws, Anthony and Mary Riccio of Virginia Beach; brother-in-law, Anthony and wife Susan; sister-in-law, Marie and husband Bob Davis of South Carolina; and sister-in-law Annette and husband Keith Tuttle of Chesapeake; nine loving grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be receiving friends at H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. A funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday and interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery on Virginia Beach Blvd. in Norfolk. Gayle always had a smile and a loving heart for everyone. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
