Larry G. Curles, 57, of the 200 block of Tara Circle, died July 24, 1993, in a local hospital.

Mr. Curles was born in Columbia, N.C. He was a retired office manager at the Southern Branch Yard, Chesapeake of Tidewater Construction Corp. after 35 years. He was a member of Coinjock Baptist Church. He was a member of Great Bridge Masonic Lodge 257, A.F. & A.M., Norfolk Consistory of Scottish Rite Bodies, Khedive Temple of the Shrine, Chesapeake Shrine Club and a charter member of Chesapeake Moose Lodge 1940.

Survivors include his wife, Lavon Griggs Curles of Chesapeake; two brothers, Terry W. Curles of Chesapeake and Walter L. Curles of Hertford, N.C.; and two nieces and one nephew.

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Masonic rites will be performed at the grave. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown & Snellings Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
