Frank H. Abernathy Jr., CPA, of Richmond, died Saturday, March 31, 2007. He is survived by his sister, Patricia A. Spies and her husband, Franklin, of Atlanta, Ga.; one nephew, Michael A. Spies, one great-nephew and one great-niece, all of Kenne-saw, Georgia. Mr. Abernathy was past National President of Phi Delta Theta, a member of Richmond Randolph Lodge No. 19 AF&AM, Richmond Scottish Rite Bodies and ACCA Temple Shrine. Frank attended Duke University and the University of Richmond. A memorial service with Masonic Rites will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Avenue. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or your favorite charity.
