Charlotte Hardt Eason, 67, died Aug. 3, 2001.
Born Oct. 23, 1933, in Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Virginia Stevens and Frank C. Hardt Sr. She was the loving and devoted wife of the late Thomas Milford Eason for 34 years. Mrs. Eason was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Virginia E. Saunders of Suffolk; son, Thomas M. Eason of Rochester, N.Y.; brother, Frank C. Hardt Jr., of Spring Hill, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Greenlawn Cemetery by the Rev. Ramon M. Owens Jr. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 902 Pennsylvania Ave., Suffolk, VA 23434 or the Comfort Care Hospice, 667 Kingsborough Square, Suite 202, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, is in charge.
