Dewey was in my class, the class of 50. But I am not sure he graduated with us. He was a running back on the football team but was better known for his baseball. He was a very good catcher. |

Dewey was at CHS in 1950. I played football with him in the fall of that year. He also was on the baseball team. He did not graduate in 1950 however. At least there is no mention or senior picture of him in the 1950 yearbook. He returned to CHS in 1951 because he was on the football team with me again that fall. However, He did not stay around for the baseball season, nor is he listed as a 1951 graduate in the yearbook for that year. I simply don't recall what became of him. Perhaps his family moved from Cradock sometime after the 1951 football season. |
