Faith Barrow-Amick

Suffolk - Suffolk- Faith B. Amick, 87, of Lawton, OK died December 2, 2016. She was a native of Cradock, VA and longtime member of Nansemond River Baptist Church in Suffolk, VA.

She was predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Martha Barrow, husband, Leslie Amick, and a son, David Amick. Mrs. Amick devoted sixty years of her life to serving God and shaping young lives as a Sunday school teacher. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Mosley (Don), and Barbara Elwell (Delvin); two sons, John L. Amick and Michael Amick (Darcy); one sister, Ruth Miller; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, at 1PM in the Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel by Pastor Delvin Elwell. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 8:00PM. Contributions may be made to the Norfolk Union Mission.
