CLARK, Clarice Reeves, 89, of St. Stephens Church, Va., formerly of Jacksonville, N.C., went to her heavenly home on Friday, August 25, 2017. She was the widow of George Addison Clark and was also preceded in death by a son, William Michael Clark. She is survived by three children, George Addison Clark Jr. (Sandy), Patricia E. Clark Grieninger (Chuck) and Catherine Clark Atkins (Bill); four grandchildren, Anna Corrine Atkins (Robbie Blevins), William C. Atkins Jr. (Mary), Michael J. Atkins (Amanda) and Addison R. Clark (Anne); six great-grandchildren; a sister, Faye Reeves Waters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Clark retired after over 50 years of teaching and coaching both in North Carolina and Virginia. She was a member of Shepherds United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 27, at Shepherds United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shepherds United Methodist Church, St. Stephens Church, Va. or a charity of your choice.
