Eugene Walker "Bunk" Wright
Class of 1943

Norfolk - On January 28, 2015, Eugene Walker Wright went to be with our Lord.

His wife, June Ross Walters Wright; brothers, Jesse Carlton Wright and Owen Wright; and his parents, Harry and Sadie Wright, precede him in death. His daughters, Mary E. Wright and Sharon L. Duprey, survive him as do many nieces, nephews, and beloved family.

"Bunk" to his family and "Gene" to his friends, he served in the Navy, and was investigator for NCIS and the Defense Department until he retired. He was an avid golfer and member of Ocean View Golf Association. Until his health declined, he faithfully occupied a seat in the last pew on the right at Talbot Park Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Dr. Chapel from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30th. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31st at Peninsula Memorial Park. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com
