ANN W. JEFFERS, WAS COUNSELOR AT WATERS JUNIOR HIGH

Ann Wriston Jeffers, 67, of the 1800 block of Rosemary Lane, a retired guidance counselor, died Oct. 16, 1990, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mrs. Jeffers, a native of Kincaid, W.Va., had retired from William E. Waters Junior High School, Portsmouth.

Survivors include her husband, Andy L. Jeffers; a daughter, Lenora Jeffers of Chesapeake; three sisters, Etta Wriston, Garbo Johnson and Opal Quesenberry, all of West Virginia; a brother, Odel Wriston of Oklahoma; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home by the Rev. J.E. Slater. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
