The Ledger (Lakeland, Fl), Tuesday, January 15, 2008 FRANK ADAMS, 81 Supervisor of Industrial Arts WINTER HAVEN - Frank Adams, 81, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2008 of bone cancer. He was born March 16, 1926 in Rocky Mount, N.C. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in W.W. II and the Korean War. He began his career as a high school teacher, teaching metal shop and electronics. Later, he became supervisor of Industrial Arts for the Chesapeake School system in Chesapeake, VA. Frank loved to work in the yard. At any given time, you could find him working with flowers while singing or whistling. Survivors include his loving wife Rachel; his brother and sister-in-law Ernest and Frances Adams of Red Oak, N.C. and his sister Elise Sykes of Rocky Mount, N.C.
